Manmade's First Store: Now Open at Carrefour Laval
This past weekend, we celebrated the grand opening of Manmade's first store at Carrefour Laval. We’re excited to bring Manmade to life in our first retail space in a way that feels true to our brand.
Why open a retail store in 2026? Five years into building Manmade, we’ve learned that taking risks and thinking differently often raises questions. Breaking into retail can be challenging, but we saw an opportunity to do something different.
When we first started exploring the idea of opening a store, we thought about everything people dislike about in-person shopping: the crowds, feeling invisible to store employees, and messy retail spaces.
What if we built a store around the values we care about most and the experience we want to give our customers?

We’re creating a place where customers can come in, feel comfortable, and try the product for themselves. It’s not just about selling or buying; it’s about building relationships, community, and a comfortable wardrobe that lasts.

You won’t find products messily displayed on shelves or hangers. When you walk into the Manmade store, you’re stepping into the brand experience itself. The showroom is designed to feel welcoming and comfortable, letting you see the quality and feel of each product.
Products are displayed on custom 3D-printed mannequin forms, designed to highlight the fit, detail, and craftsmanship behind each piece. Take your time, grab an espresso, and make yourself at home.

When you’re ready to buy, our brand ambassadors handle everything directly on the floor. Your order is prepared in the back of house and brought out ready to go.

WHAT COMES NEXT FOR MANMADE STORES
For any company that starts from scratch, every stage begins with a blueprint. Five years ago, that blueprint was one boxer brief, and it’s shaped every product we’ve created since. Building a completely new retail experience isn’t easy, and we’ve never been the copy-and-paste type.
We’ve gone from a boxer brief company to a men’s apparel brand, and from an e-commerce business to a physical retail space. Opening our first store is a major milestone, and one we hope is just the beginning of a story that reaches across Canada.
