A couple of weeks ago, we asked YOU what causes and charities you hold closest to your heart, and we received amazing feedback. We deeply believe in paying it forward AND that there is no such thing as a gesture that is too small.
For this year’s Giving Tuesday initiative, for the entire day of Tuesday November 28th, 2023, Manmade will be donating $5 for every order placed on our website in support of the prostate cancer cause at the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS).
It is estimated that about 1 in 8 Canadian men will develop prostate cancer during their lifetime. Investing in the best prostate cancer research in Canada has helped to cut the prostate cancer death rate by 50% since 1995 through improvements in early detection and treatment. But prostate cancer is still the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the third-leading cause of cancer death among men. More than 24,000 Canadians are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year.
The funds from this campaign will be donated to CCS and designated to prostate cancer research, support services, advocacy and health education.
The Canadian Cancer Society works tirelessly to save and improve lives and is committed to funding the most promising cancer research, providing a compassionate support system for all those affected by cancer and working with governments to shape a healthier society.

Note that in 2020, the Prostate Cancer Canada organization joined forces with the CCS in order to reduce duplication and make donations go further in helping those facing prostate cancer.

The Giving Tuesday campaign was an AMAZING success.
Thanks to your support, we raised over $9000, and we decided to round it up to a cool $10,000
To top it off, the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) will be matching our donation to make it a total of $20,000.00 raised. The CCS has an anonymous donor who has come forward to generously match the gifts received on Giving Tuesday.
These funds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society directly towards Prostate Cancer research, support services, advocacy and health education.
